Portsmouth, surrounded on three
sides by water, is one of three communities
on Aquidneck Island. The Town, established in
1638, was noted as an agricultural center. Bay
View is situated on one of the many farms that
populated the area. Today Portsmouth continues
its history with over 4,000 acres of farm preservation,
while hosting major industries including oceanography,
small boat, sailboat and luxury yacht building,
to name a few. Both Roger Williams College,
Salvi Regina College and the Naval Education
Training Center are nearby.

From Boston:
Take Route 128 to Route 24 South. Route 24 will
merge into Route 114 in Portsmouth. Continue
on Route 114 for 2.7 miles and Bay View Estates
will be on your right.
